I am a Research Scientist at the Geometry group of SINTEF Digital in Oslo, Norway. I am interested in applied geometry, geometry processing, computational design and machine learning.
I received my PhD in Technical Mathematics from TU Wien, at the Applied Geometry group of the Institute of Discrete Mathematics and Geometry, under the supervision of Helmut Pottmann. The focus of my PhD research was to incorporate various constraint types, such as constraints imposed by material properties, into the abstract geometric modeling design process.
Until recently, I was an ITN Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research Fellow at Evolute GmbH, working on geometric optimization algorithms with applications in architecture, CAD and interactive modeling.
I also enjoy working on problems in computational geometry, and combinatorial optimization.
