I am a Research Scientist at the Geometry group of SINTEF Digital in Oslo, Norway. I am interested in applied geometry, geometry processing, computational design and machine learning.
I received my PhD in Technical Mathematics from TU Wien in 2020, at the Applied Geometry group of the Institute of Discrete Mathematics and Geometry, under the supervision of Helmut Pottmann. The focus of my PhD research was to develop interactive computational methods for geometry-driven and material-aware architectural design.
During my PhD, I was also an ITN Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research Fellow at Evolute GmbH, a software and consulting company known for its applied research in architectural geometry and geometry optimization.
In 2021, I joined SINTEF, where I now lead the EIC-funded project STACK—a collaboration between SINTEF, DTU, and Zaha Hadid Architects—exploring innovative geometry-driven design, optimization, and fabrication methods for dual-configuration stackable freeform structures.
I also enjoy working on problems in computational geometry, and combinatorial optimization.
